KHA AGM 19th May 2018 - Venue: Talbingo

Talbingo Mountain Retreat

The meeting will be starting at 1pm finishing at 4pm. Drinks, dinner $22 and breakfast $12 will be at the Retreat. The agenda will be circulated in due course.

Accommodation is available at the Retreat in Cabins (sleep up to 5) at a cost of $90 plus $10 per person with an additional charge for linen if required.

Talbingo Caravan Park

Accommodation is also available at the Talbingo Caravan Park in self-contained Units and cabins.

Book Launch: Matthew Higgins’ Bold Horizon - 11th April 2018

Book Cover Matthew Higgins Bold HorizonsMatthew Higgins’ latest non-fiction book Bold Horizon: High-country, Place, People and Story, will be launched at the National Library of Australia, Canberra, on 11 April by Max Bourke AM, a founding committee member of KHA, inaugural Director of the Australian Heritage Commission and someone who has walked and skied in the Snowies for 50 years.

KHA members will be very welcome at the launch.

Bookings are essential and can be made once the event is listed on the NLA’s website, booking either via the website (nla.gov.au/bookings) or by phone on 02 6262 1424.

The book is being published by Rosenberg Publishing of Sydney and will be available broadly through good bookshops following the launch.






Update on Basalt Knob Hut.
